This hotel even had a pool area and a pool bar.

Entrance at one of our nicer hotels.

Just about to reach a hotel destination in this town. This was a pretty big city. Dont recall the name though.

One of the morning interviews

Up in the tower at the Nazca Lines

Getting fresh squeezed OJ at a side street fruit stand.

More views as we cross the desert.

Not able to finish the soup when I realized it had a boiled fish head in it that still had all the contents !

Lunch after.

Lunch before.....

Found this guy at a gas station and had some fun with him.

Another break at a corner store just before getting to our hotel.

The kids loved getting on our bikes.

Just a cool area in the desert.

Group of kids we met in a shantytown.

Come to find out, I wasnt supposed to be riding on this part of the desert. Ooops.

There is nothing out here. Felt like we were on the moon or something.
Stopped in a small town for some bottled water.

Lunch spot

The simplest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in.

Dogs were everywhere. Not a single one was mean. Some would bark, but they were still friendly.

Other towns were a bit more built up, but still not a lot.

One of the many shantytowns we passed through. No power, plumbing or running water

Taking breaks as we cross the desert. Not much around.

This was our view for miles and miles

Neale doing his beach interview

Beautiful!

Ross does his interview on an abandoned boat

The bikes were not exactly easy to ride in the sand

Getting ready to do some ocean front interviews

Stopping for a break and some fuel as we leave Lima

Adding a camera to my 1200 before we start to ride through Lima

Lunch at first hotel just before we leave

Loading the support truck, Flavio and Brandon

Neale gets the bikes signed for

Breakfast on the first morning

Ross doing his interview

Setting up for interviews on day one

Hotel lobby, arrival night. Mine and Ross' luggage
